The Boshy

The Boshy is a character first featured in the I Wanna Be The Guy (IWBTG) fangame "I Wanna Be The Boshy", by Jesper "Solgryn". He is based on the Twitch streamer BoshyTime. Ever since then, he has become a staple in other IWBTG fangames, both as a playable character and a boss.

I Wanna Kill The Happil[]

Enemy[]

The Boshy appears as an enemy in the first stage of I Wanna Kill The Happil, where he rises up from the floor at the end of the second room and fires a large shot upward before leaving.

The Boshy appears again alongside Dark Boshy during the Solgryn boss fight, where he fires ten expanding shots at the player before flying off-screen.

Boss Fight[]

The Boshy is later fought as the boss of the following stage. He begins the battle by slamming to the ground, causing spikes to rain from the sky. He then fires several large bullets at the player, triggering another rain of spikes near the end of the attack that includes a spike wall above the player's position. He then starts firing spreads of shots into the air that arc over the player, exploding into several smaller shots that fall downwards. During this attack, more spike walls fall onto the player's position. He ends the attack by firing a spread of spike walls that burst all the remaining projectiles. After this a red afterimage begins bouncing onto the player's position, causing a rain of spikes each time it hits the ground. The real Boshy then rapidly jumps several times before leaping off-screen and repeating the pattern. At half health, The Boshy transforms into Dark Boshy and flies off, starting the second phase of the battle.
