Buried Alive +[]
MissingNo. appears as an enemy in Buried Alive + and Buried Alive + 3D, encountered on the 3rd Floor of Pokémon Tower. Three MissingNo. block the way forward, one real and the other two uninteractable fakes. Interacting with the real MissingNo. sends the player into a battle.
The player is able to flee from the MissingNo. battle at any time, which causes it to disappear and allow the player to progress. If Pikachu attacks the MissingNo., he will deal no damage and the MissingNo. will give an ominous message. This will repeat until Turn 5, where attacking will cause the MissingNo. to use Glitch, an attack which unavoidably causes Pikachu to faint by dealing 9,999 damage. The player will then be sent to the ?th Floor, a glitchy version of Pokémon Tower that leads to Glitch City. Entering the cave entrance in Glitch City causes Red to be consumed by glitches, closing the game after 300 frames.
